Three independent pollsters, three angles on the same underlying question: how stable does US political confidence look right now?
Economy handling
63% disapprove
63% disapprove29% approve
Economist/YouGov, national poll, 5–8 Jun 2026.
Factual common ground
80%
of US adults say Republican and Democratic voters cannot agree on basic facts.
Pew Research Center, 2026.
Breadth of state approval
22 of 50 states
show positive net presidential approval; the other 28 do not.
Morning Consult state tracker, Feb 2026.
Reading these together, not alone: national economy disapproval, a high share of adults who see no shared factual baseline, and approval positive in fewer than half the states are three separate signals — not three measurements of the same thing. For an HNWI planning file, the practical method is to track a stable basket of indicators across issues, geographies, and pollsters, rather than anchor decisions to any single poll.
